I'm applying to go to Hiroshima University next year, did I tell you that?
Well, I am.
The application process has thus far been a nightmare. As of about tuesday everything will finally be out of my hands and I get to just sit and wait.
Who wants to start the bets on how badly I fail Psycholinguistics taught in Japanese ^^;;;;;
Went to the Japanese Speech Contest last Saturday, in Fredricton. What a long day, good lord. up at 4:30, back home at midnight. Most gross. I finished my speech the night before and didnt get to memorize it, so it was a little rough. But I took second in the advanced category.
I watched Utada Hikaru's video for Passion today. First time I'd heard it before. It's quite the pretty song. I enjoy the video as well. It has that unique utada-ness to it. Her gown is pretty cool, though my first reaction was that she looked like a big bug. In some shots it reminds me of wings.. all and all pretty cool. I like the close up shot they do of her hand and side, and you see the... garland( perhaps? for lack of a better word) that runs down a long it. It reminds me of something from a video game, that I can't quite remember. The lyrics are good, not my favorite, but v.good none the less. I didn't realize it's apparently the theme for the new kingdom hearts. For that matter, i dont even know how old it is ^^.
It amuses me at the end that while she sings about "aozora no shita" they pan out to a grey, overcast looking sky. should be "kumori sora no shita" XD
anyway. I'm rambling. Watch and enjoy. I reccomend pausing it until the full file downloads - which takes a while sadly.
Also, the audo and the video dont quite align right, so her lips are out of synch with the words.
I have to remember that I have 3 term papers to write! Egads! Where did the second semester go?
