I think whats wrong with Lyns computer is with winsock or something.
I think she had some form of spyware that when I removed it screwed up the tc/ip or whatever its called settings.
Ive tried a few things but I cant seem to fix it and now I have to leave the country and the poor womans computer broken and in shambles (not quite that bad. but still)
Apparently the Canadian postal service, somewhere, had a strike. which meant that when i took my $400 worth of books to the post office today to have them mailed home (cause they sure aint goin in my suitcase)the lil asian woman looked at me with fear in her eyes and said I'm Sorry, we cant send it by sea mail right now. If you would like to send it by airmail, it would cost you ..... oh. oh my.. that's expensive.
yeah. Luckily, 45 minutes of phone calls later, she finally got hold of someone who knew what was happening with the situation and found out that the strike ended on the 16th apparently.
so my books are being shipped home for the low low price of 50 bucks. instead of 110. No idea how much customs are going to charge me when it arrives. probably 100.
I wrote used books (which they are) and the value at $150. come books come.
Im going back to canada. I have a lot of things to do. I leave tomorrow. I have to go to a bunch of places before tomorrow. The only way to get there is on my bike. What does Japan do? Why, it has TWO FUCKING TYPHOONS BEFORE I LEAVE!
Its pouring rain outside and I cant really get anywhere. What a piss off.
I better go pack and cry.
or clean and cry.
maybe just cry.
People better be nice to me when I come back home!
I think Japan has made my fragile lil self even more fragile.
anyway.
Off to make things fit in already overfull suitcases.
fun.
hate packing.
hate.
