I'm here taking a break from working on some tracks. It feels sooooooooo good to be recording some more music! I felt so lost when I wasn't sitting down at my keyboards.(Aug.-Sept.) A couple of songs keep coming back around to me, as if it were some child saying, "No, you're going to hear me out!"...like, it doesn't want me to forget about it? Oh well, the only thing that matters is that I continue moving forward with it! This newest song is similar to my song "Late"; it sounds like "Late", but inside-out, which is very cool. I guess it's sorta how you can play Tori's "Carbon" and "Crazy" back to back...They're very similar in that perspective. I will just be glad to be DONE and have my first full-length CD out. My debut CD is going to be a dual-disc, of course...like I've been saying all along. Yes, very similar to Tori's, "To Venus and Back"----however, the 2nd CD isn't going to be "live stuff"; Rather, "Acoustic" and "Electronic". I absolutely LOVE all of my gear! The more I work with everything, the better I get at figuring it all out(obviously). In school, we used MACS, so everything I learned in my Electronic Arts classes doesn't really apply to these PC music programs. SOME things are basically the same but overall, I'd say things are 70% different! So, that's what I meant by figuring eveything out---technically. Music theory is something I've had down, since I was 8? It's just the technical things that I struggle with, from time to time. I will go into more detail about some of the songs, as soon as I have more energy and sleep.
Well, it's time for me to head out to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
I am looking very forward to Samhain this year. I wasn't going to dress up, BUT, I've deccided to go out to WeHo again---what a zoo!---but oh so much fun! I've decided to be a "Red-Fire-Faerie",(In drag-form---but I'll just see who does and doesn't know while I'm out & about, hehe). I'll have plenty of pics to share, I'm sure.
That's all for now....More info. sooooooooooooooooooooooon! No matter the topic; I'm just trying to use my online journal more often than not.
