S7S: How cool is CNS?
So, Christian N. St. Pierre is one of my favorite artists to work with. I'm pretty hands-on with the art direction process, and he takes it very well, always managing to include that extra bit of detail or kinetic motion that I know is in my head but can only hope is somehow coming across in my (very wordy) specs.
We were lucky we could afford to get him for the key "cultural" pieces in Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies, as well as a few other bits. The following may be my favorite piece from Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies (now in preorder!).
