(no subject)
i haven't updated in 2 weeks... so i thought i'd make the effort today.
the oar show 2 sundays ago wasn't that bad. i really liked the band that played before them. twas a lot of fun.
didn't do much that following week. i worked... got stoned and went kayaking. i got the keye to the gate at the beach so i could go down there and kayak on the river instead of on the creek.
we left for vegas saturday. i loved it... but probably would've loved it more if pop and judy weren't assholes. they always have to complain about something. anyway... i maybe walked away with a little over $200 more than i had. i won $123 on a penny machine... and a total of $92 at bingo. we played bingo at a small casino outside of vegas that my judy's mom goes to all the time. you can fit 400 people in that bingo room. so... sipping bloody maries (sp?) all morning and playing bingo with a bunch of old ladies is the start of a good day. (kidding) but i enjoyed it. my brother won $6,000 at bingo. that jerk. hilaaaaaaaaaaaaarious.
we ate at emerals (sp?) one night as well... i wasn't that impressed. i had the filet over garlic mashed potatoes with a crabmeat bernaise... and i still say it tastes just like the filet special at mojo's. mmmk.
we also ate at the top of the stratosphere, which was beautiful. i got to see the sun go down over the mountains in nevada.
we stayed at treasure island... which was awesome... the guys at the pool bar new will and pop by name (and me a little) and got free rounds of drinks... luckies.
the last night we saw one of the cirque de soleils. we saw mystere and it was fucking amazing. the best show i've ever seen. oh man... incredible.
BEEDLE JUST CALLED. GOTTA GO TO TREY'S. BEEDLE, FARRELL, BELINDA, AND FARRELL'S GIRLFRIEND ARE THERE. BEEDLE'S BACK FROM IRAQ. I HAVEN'T SEEN BELINDA FOR 5 BAJILLION YEARS... AND FARRELL'S BACK FROM UP NORTH.
