I hear the rain fall
I practice my faults
untill everyone around knows me
better than I'll ever know myself
I see the sunsets
Everyone forgets
I'm trying my damnest but that just goes to show
dissapointmets
stupid little comments
take thier toll nomatter how old you get
and this stupid lunchbox
this old pocket watch stopped
And all that I got
Seems like its almost what it used to be
and I say
Don't give up yet
Stop focusing on regret
Stop insueing everything
you never meant to be
its just stupidity
responsibility
not quite my strong suite
My pleas fall on deaf mute ears
damn your pretensious nature
And whatever side you choose to favor
I'm starting to write again
I'm starting to miss my old friends
I'm stuggling but I guess I'm used to it by now
I don't know how some people do it
the days when they felt none of all of this has been
anywhere near worth what they've put in
I take a look at you
and you shoot one back across the room
We know that its too soon
We know its no use
the rope tightens and you see myface
the second before the knife cuts the noose
Don't give up yet
Stop focusing on regret
Stop insueing everything
you never meant to be
its just stupidity
responsibility
not quite my strong suite
My pleas fall on deaf mute ears
damn your pretensious nature
And whatever side you choose to favor
