got officially unofficially engaged, visited pasco.

2. Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
my resolution is the same every year: pick up every penny i find, no matter what. adam beat me to a few of them, though

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
my cousin sue

4. Did anyone close to you die?
no

5. What countries did you visit?
canada, and pasco, which, if you've been to mexico, is easily mistaken for mexico (but without trying, unlike how idiots might easily mistake leavenworth for germany.)

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
financial security, dignity

7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
august 22, day before my gradution. got drunk on camus and had sex on the roof of highland and the stair sculpture.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
graduated college, removed psycho family members from my life

9. What was your biggest failure?
not getting my bachelor's in journalism

i pulled a muscle during softball this spring, and repulled it on a photo shoot for a j-school assignment.

a duck which i stuffed and roasted perfectly

my cousin daniel visiting from germany

everything. i regret nothing.

worrying, feeling sorry for myself

listening to Led Zepplin II and painting lightswitch plates; spending time with adam

i don't know, it was like that when i got here

yes

one and a half

i like to watch dr. phil yell at fat people.

every day after work i hate about two dozen more people.

i had a lot of good texts in my class, but i learned a lot from "The Language Police"

Carol King's Tapestry.

justification of my existance

proof of that justification

i really liked School of Rock, Pirates of the Carribean and Luther.

i turned 22, going on 75. i threw a party at Megan's and spent inequtably good time with Kathleen, seeing Mirah.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
if i did not have slobs and alcoholics for roomates and mental cases for parents.

"i can't believe THIS is in the free bin!"

america's idea that it's better for our boys to die in the desert than to drive less and turn down our thermostats

i still miss my ex, but my aim is improving
