My sister did a Duran-zine in the 80's-90's and I saw them with her over 11 times (last time was a few years back with the Cranberries during the Ordinary World tour )
that is absolutely incredible. i've only seen them once and it was during a festival thing so they only played for a half hour or so. Simon was wearing pink vinyl pants and a white baby tee with rhinestones. it was hoTT.
ok i get the elastica thing...i was there (sorta) however my love has faded...i agree about king by belly...remember seeing them tanya together...carson you suck...um...i too didn't really get into the pixies till post-breeders and well last splash did it for me...um luscious jackson...you know where i stand there...i've grown a bit away from the pop in recent years but all those bands are still really important for me. come visit and i'll open your ears to some *new* stuff.
new stuff, new stuff. i'm stuck in my ways though. (random) i finally got the Rizzo album and I don't really like it....guess it's just a live thing then...
