Another weekend in the PC. A quiet weekend in the PC. Half of the people here went rock collecting and another half are going camping which leaves 5 people dining here tonight. I plan to crochet and read and paint the town red. Also we are getting pizza tonight so Ed (the proprietor) doesn't have to cook.
I don't know what to say about field camp. I'm not the best geologist, that is, mapping is not my thing. I am much better at things like taking a strike and dip quickly and immediately recognizing bedding but I'm still horrible at finding faults even if the are staring me in the face. I have become more outdoorsy and I'm quite good at being away from home. Did I mention that this is my first time away from home? Yup, I'm not a very independent type person. Not that being here equals being independent. It doesn't. It is like living in the dorm, except that the shower won't stay the same temperature for more than five minutes. Luckily I always know when it is going to change.
Almost laundry time. Did i mention that I've also never done my laundry at a laundromat before. It is easy! Also, at least two people here pronounce it "laundrymat" which kind of weirds me out.
