A sausage is a thing of encased meat. Sausage is also a word in the English language. I don't know a lot about sausages but I know that there are many types of different origins. In Germany there is a type of sausage called a Bratwurst. Bratwursts have somewhat of a gray coloring, which, in my opinion, is not very appealing. Chinese people have sausages too. They are sweeter but more wrinkled. I was wrong about a sausage being a thing of meat. Many sausages are made of meat but some sausages are made of other things too, such as soy product. I myself cannot vouch for this particular brand of sausage squarely out of principle. A sausage can be eaten in a multitude of ways such as between a bun made of bread or by itself, no bread. The worth of a sausage is measured by how juicy or delicious it is, not by it's ability to make friends or be happy like a human being. Sausages have probably sustained the lives of millions throughout history. At the very least, sausages have produced momentary sensory bliss for one person, me, at various intervals in my life. My relationship with the Costco hotdog is one of gratitude and understanding. The agreement we have is that one of us must always be full of flavor. Sometimes I get too comfortable with the stability of our arrangement and I long for something more fulfilling such as the glamour and excitement of a hot link or the heft and seriousness of a kielbasa or even the vague otherness of a chorizo. The Costco hotdog is easy to locate and procure if one has a dollar fifty and a Costco membership. It also comes with a free fountain drink but only drink it if you are normal and sane. I tend to devour Costco hotdogs quickly and without thought. The truth of the matter is that one day, things might be different. A bitter factory worker might poop into one of the batches and somehow trigger a freaky reaction that changes the genetic make up of all Costco hot dogs forever. Cows might go extinct. At any rate, perhaps they should be savored.

This is all I have to say and will ever have to say about sausages.

I hope you have found it informative or enlightening or both. I can feel in my heart that it is both.
