My four month summer holiday is pretty much over after this weekend. I never really got to go on vacation but other than that summer was good. It seems like everyone came to visit this summer, family and friends from Italy, Portugual and Montreal (soon).
I never did make to garden state but I did watch the movie a few days ago. There was a movie filmed on my street last week and it's going to be shown at Heritage next year. The film is called Your Beautiful Cul-de-Sac Home,

Lately I've been watching the Back to the Future Trilogy. Part 2 is good, but nothing beats part 1.
There's a new Canadian Skateboard movie coming out in a few months called Downtown Canada.
http://www.downtowncanada.ca This summer I took up skateboarding and met some cool people along the way. Learning is the hardest part. My stint at lessons was fun yet embarrassing at the same time. I want to go and play in the little pipe at Fletchers and perfect my ollie soon and maybe learn another trick or two before the snow falls.
The demo's and premiers are fun (quicksilver, real-go skate day, dc nationals, dvs skate more, ect). I got my board set up at Hammer, it's a cool store in the beaches,
http://www.hammertoronto.com/shop%20info.html It was sad news when I found out full tilt closed down, hopefully they re-open somewhere else soon. Adrift is a nice little store that has a cool park in the back.
The Ryan Allan photo exhibit was really cool. Here's some photos
http://www.harrygils.com/ryanallan.html (of course there was no one at the exhibit when we were there but the party after was cool). I still need to see if Henry's sells 110 film. Speaking of pictures I learned to print.
I helped out a Wakestock for a few days. Making passes at the office was cool. I got to ride the ferry 8 times in one day. The Montana's show after was a good ending. The skate park was fun when the demo's actually went on. The Oakley Launch pool was crazy. Wakeskateing looks hard but it seems pretty fun. Here's a photo
http://www.wakestock.com/images/photos/pool_brace_RR.jpg For a few days we also had the excitement of the BPC launch. It's to bad that after the launch party there were no more events. It was fun while it lasted.
I also got my computer and learned how to use i-movie. One day soon I'll figure out Final Cut Pro. I finally got my movies on California and the Canadian Open done. This year's comp should be good, but I don't know why they don't want ams to compete when they make up most of the athletes. The comp is in about four weeks, check it out at
http://www.canadianopenskateboard.com Summer kicked off with the Tuesday night concert series. I got to see Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Hereo's, Straylight Run, Hellogoodbye, Get Up Kids, Reggie, Modest Mouse, and lots of other bands at warped and other shows.
The only bad things are the nashville sucks now and Friends just isn't as the same as Amgio's was.
Here's some good quotes of the summer:
"When I get rich, I'm going to buy you a white jetta and get gold trim on everything. It will be a luxary edition just like your watch."
"His name is Brady and he's also single."
"Fool of the world."
"I just want a Cabrio and I want to move to Beamsville."
"dingelhopper"
"only the 403 matters"
"hyundia"
"they played at bronte back in 83"
"you work at price chopper in barrie, right?"
and "it's hammer time".
and according to aims, camo is the new print for fall. yes it's cool to wear camo again.
good bye, go listen to jack's mannequin.
