man, it's been a long couple of days for mister cheromcha. yesterday consisted of marathoning 21 pages of psych homework, which can break anyone. started around 11. finished around 9 at night. but it's done. and handed in. 13 out of 14 case studies. not too shabby for something pulled together at the 11th hour.
after psych i took a break and talked to jen for a little while. aim is nice, but it was great to hear her voice. i could only talk for a little while because my psycho mother was on a rampage and took my phone away because i hadn't packed my backpack for school or something of that ilk. i don't really know. i wasn't really paying attention. bottom line, my conversation got cut unfairly short. but it was probably a blessing in disguise (nothing against jen!) because i had pretty much my entire ap bio summer assignment to do that night. i was quite impressed with myself as i finished and got into bed around 4 in the morning, but didn't actually fall asleep till like 4:30. but it's done. and handed in.
something really scary happened this morning to me. i might be suspended. me, andy chermocha, the kid who hasn't gotten a detention of any sorts since his freshman year, might get suspended. what happened was during homeroom, i absentmindedly installed "firefox" on the computer so i could axcess game sites blocked on "internet explorer". within a couple of hours later, i'm called down to the office and find greg chin and lee rocha already there sitting outside the dean of student's office. we figure out why were there; we had all installed "firefox" that morning. everyone did it last year, so when we were doing it, it didn't seem like such a big deal. lee goes in first and is in there for a painfully long time. when he comes out, he is obviously shaken. i tell him to stick around while mr. lovetree (the dean of students) calls greg into his office. after the door closes, he whispers to me "mr. macrino wants to suspend us, but mr. lovetree is going to try and talk him out of it." my heart literally stops beating. i couldn't believe my ears. things like getting suspended don't happen to people like me, big lee, or greg chinny-chin-chin. we figured out that what mr. macrino mostly wants to do is make an example out of us. i mean, take my computer priviledges!! i never use the thing anyways!! no warning of the new severity of installing browsers. last year, all that would happen was they would make it so you couldn't go to game sites on the newly installed browser. i had no idea what i was risking. god damn i better not get suspended. and you better believe that if i do, i'm going to fight it.
this is definetely going to be one hell of a year. so far i really like my classes and my teachers. with the exception of mrs. jordan, that fat, ummm, idiot. pre-cal promises to be a long year. but hey!! only 6.5 credits and no language!! life is good.
