Stay still..

As you rush through your day or it could just be the other way around, at the peak of your day's activity, do take a  two minute breather and observe what you've been doing all the while. Dont judge, dont question, dont form an opinion, just observe the madness, the fervour, the reason, the emotions, the stress, the outcome. Be still and observe. Think of what your are doing with your life or maybe even your day. Then think of what you want from life ultimately. Smirk or laugh out aloud and get on with your work.

Well, how many times have I stopped and wondered - why? why what? why how? why when? why where?

When you realise that life the way we live it is frivolous and to a large extent meaningless, and that we are capable of leading or rather deserve an even higher "life" which we cannot or shall not attain, it surely does one thing, it makes your current existence seem like a child's play and helps you relax and take better control - its like when you have to suffice with a Carousel as all the big rides in the park are closed for the day. Nothing can scare or shake you off that little ride!

No harm in playing second fiddle to your better self....I call it the power of perspective!
