Take a walk down memory lane with me...

Coming home has reminded just how odd it is to have my life seperated by geography. I settle into certain routines while here, but while away it's almost as if time freezes. Everyone here has their own life, moving in different directions; but when I return it's as if I left yesterday.

This return home has been a good home. It's allowed me to take stock in all that I have accomplished over the past six months and really revel in that. I'm proud that I set out a plan and actually stuck to it. I may be broke as all hell, but hey I'm happy and that counts for something, right?

It's been a weekend of nostalgia and playing catch up. It's been a hectic albeit balanced few days between visits with the family and hanging out with Rey-na-na-na. I've visited the penis fountain in Santana Row, danced to Wynonna with Ms. Jan at Badlands, took my mama out, and had a fabulous dinner party with Jackie O. I can't wait for each of them to make their respective trips to the new place I call home.

I avoided a major crisis today when I thought my computer was near death. When I went to turn it on this morning the display was all pixelated and flicking then turned pitch black. I took it to the apple store fearing the worst, but apparently this thing happens frequently with my model. So they sent it in for repair and free of charge I will have my computer good as new in 1-2 weeks. Needless to say, I was much relieved. It's sad how much we depend on those fuckers.

Blah my brain isn't working right now. I think it's the food/wine coma. Alright well this update is at least a start. I'll write a more coherent entry when I return to Boston. 24 hours to go...
