I made this really good dish today.
1lb of ground pork
1lb of 73/27 ground beef
onion powder
garlic powder
Italian seasoning
Gochugaru (korean pepper flakes)
salt
ground pepper
crushed red pepper
head of cabbage
curry powder
butter
Preheat oven to 350. Mix the meat together, add a tablespoon of gochugaru, other spices were not counted but it's say about .3-.5 of a tablespoon of the garlic, italian seasoning, onion powder, and pepper. It's more of an add what you like. salt your meat mixture now, about a teaspoon. You know when you have enough seasoning because you'll be able to see it mixed through out the meat. Flatten the meat mixture into to a square or rectangle it should be a quarter of an inch thick or so. On top sprinkle more pepper, add the crushed red pepper, italian seasoning and more salt. it's should just be a sprinkle or to taste
While the meat is baking I chose cabbage because I needed to get rid of it, I think it would go well with zucchini pasta or as a stand alone dish with maybe some homemade tomato sauce.
Cut your cabbage into four quarters, roughly chop one quarter into inch size pieces put other quarter pieces to the side. heat up your pan with a tablespoon of butter and add the cabbage making sure every piece is covered. Cook to desired doneness and add a teaspoon of pepper, salt, and the curry powder.
put the cabbage on a plate and when the meatloaf is done cut it into four squares add one square on top of the cabbage and enjoy.
This recipe is only for one serving but in total it makes four. I would not reccommend having more than 2 servings of this. one serving is around 850 calories. as I only eat once a day this will be enough for 4 days of food
