Few quick things:
one, a cute aside:

secondly, something I hate:
People who put forth inquiries to you, such as "How are you?" and "What have you been up to lately?" and immediately follow them with responses of their own.. to their own questions. Not only does this make the recipient of said questions feel pressured, but it's generally quite rude and bad ediquit to answer your own questions, unless they're rhetorical, in which case you really don't need to ask them in the first place.
thirdly:
Each day to and from school, I usually see at least one Hearse, at least one 7-section-extended limo (usually the SUV or Hummer type), and at a bare minimum, 3 to 4 patrol units. On "happening" days, usually around the middle of the month (since that's when quota is due), I can see a variety of regular and unmarked cruisers, both regular car and Suburban state troopers, various Sheriffs' vehicles (from more than one area), and even some MDOT Freeway Courtesy Patrol vans. Hey, here's a thought, redo the stupid traffic laws, then so many valuable man-hours of our law enforcement, as well as tax dollars, won't be completely wasted enforcing rules that no one likes and no one follows anyway. Or maybe it's a money-maker.. Yeah. It's a money-maker. It's not changing anytime soon.
Ah well. Off to my Philosophy class.
