neglect, compliments and disappointment

A customer complimented my hair today. I have pink and blonde streaks. She asked me in detail how I had it done and how quickly it washed out. What brand did I use and how effective was it. She was at least seventy. I was very impressed. If I don't have coloured streaks through my hair when I'm that old I'll be extremely disappointed.
