...dammit! I was hoping you'd run into some Jason-esque monster, and I'd get a weird text message late Saturday night that says "hel", so I would gather a group of our friends and go up to the camp site only to find an empty tent with a piece of newspaper from 1950 that talks about a kid who disappeared after his family was found brutally murdered, which leads us to believe that the kid survived and was the one who butchered his family, and that is when the ol' park ranger steps out from behind a tree and tells us the kid supposedly lives up in the old cabin on Widow's Cliff, so we all head up there, spotting small drops of blood on leaves every now and then, which leads us to believe you and Jeannine were killed, but then we find several dead birds along the way that had their eyes removed and one of us figures out that all of their beaks are facing north which is the direction of the cabin, so we continue on the path and get to the cabin and find that you had already dispatched the kid who was now a 6'5" adult who looks like he eats only steroids for breakfast, but then he gets up and we have to throw everything we can at him and in a final showdown I jump on his back and stab him in the neck which causes him to fall off the cliff with me still hanging on and everyone thinks I'm dead but I actually grabbed onto a branch a few feet down, but the murderer fell to his death...or so we thought.
