(no subject)
i havent updated in two years. i dont even know how this thing works, im just used to reading other peoples lives and lurking. what was supposed to be a year and a half working in the kitchens of paris basically turned into euro(bro)trip 2007. yknow, like in that one movie, eurotrip? or in that opening sequence/vignette in the rules of attraction that accelerates through that one guys adventures doing a bunch of drugs and drinking absinthe with models in amsterdam?
i worked for three days in paris's most esteemed and historied restaurant, at the end of the third day i told them to fuck off, first in english then in french. now im left with all the money i saved to live for a year burning a hole in my pocket, a 15-day eurail pass, no obligations, and a lot of time on my hands. once i figure out how to post pictures on livejournal (i dont think ive ever done that before) ill show you guys my buzzed head. if anybody out there knows anybody in the following cities that would be willing to let me stay please do tell:
barcelona, madrid, valencia, lisbon, porto, andorra, toulouse, lyon, marseille, milan, geneva, brussels, amsterdam, the hague, berlin, dusseldorf, vienna, athens, edinburgh, glasgow.
music: lots of bay area hip hop. lots of lauryn hill. noticeably absent are yann tiersen and any frenchie soundtracks.
