OF COURSE I DID! I thought they never made you watch Roots? Personally, I had the pleasure of being able to watch it whilst clad in traditional African garb, with all of my black friends during the first week of Black History month. It was very enlightening.

but my dad told me that he was kunta kinte after i asked, "why does everyone know that man's name?!?!"
clearly i missed out on the festivities.
