Yes, she has a conscience [WW|very hackable]

This should be the best day in the world. The person who blew us up is gone, and so is that weirdo who kept calling me creepy, and we all get a ton of dessert. Absolutely nothing can go wrong - well, except that I didn't really get to do anything about it, it all just happened, but that's probably better because it's easier anyway ( Read more... )

i didn't mean to say that, stealing your food, yuffie thinks milk's a creeper

Unfortunately, there are times when even a ton of dessert can't make you feel any better.

That's depressing. So what do I do to get my mind off this mess?

Personally, I just sort of wait it out. Nothing lasts forever, so the feeling will go away in time.

...But some people say talking about it helps.

It just feels weird, that's all. It sucks that I wasn't the one who found out who blew us up, but I don't know if that's why I don't feel relieved or anything.

Hmm... And what about Yuffie?

We hated each other. I'm grateful. It's hard to get used to not being picked up and tossed around like a toy, though.

Maybe I was looking too much into that. I thought the two of you had a love/hate type of friendship going on, but then again, I didn't know Yuffie very well.

...Why are you always right?

Someone has to be.

~And now, unfortunately, we return to our age old conversation about how it's Not Very Nice to leave without telling anyone. On the bright side, this is Yuffie we're talking about; I'm sure she'll be fine on her own.

Hey, it wasn't me leaving this time. Don't bring this to my situation. I'm still sending letters to the people I liked back home, you know.

If she's as good as she said she was, she will. I fixed her weapon a couple months ago, and I know what I'm doing, so it can't be broken already.

I'm simply pointing out that you're on the receiving end of the situation this time, and that might be why you feel... the way that you're feeling.

...Why do you think she went and ditched us, anyway? I heard some things were missing, but I doubt she was on here just to steal a few mana crystals. If so, she'd have hopped off when we were in Shashta and she was raiding the mines.

At least she didn't take my Blue Rose, or I would've hurt her. Not that I could do much without it.

Who knows? Adventurer's spirit, perhaps?

So, what's so special about that Rose anyway?

Maybe. Who cares? In any case, it happened.

We are talking about the crystal on my Milky Palette, right? I built that thing around it, so without it, it might not work.

Hm...

You never actually explained to me how the Milky Palette works. Is it magitech?

Yes! That's what I was before I signed on here, a weapons maker. Magitech is my specialty! And having a mana crystal in there is an added bonus.
