Mokona is hearing things about tongue parasites. They don't sound all that nice.
Having something like that in your mouth must feel funny.

...Do they hurt?

Based off what some people have been saying I assume they hurt quite a lot.

It sounds like they do, a creature growing out of your tongue would be rather painful.

They grow out of the tongues? Mokona thought they grew on them.
They sound really painful now.

Most parasites embed themselves into a part of the body first, otherwise they would fall off or be ingested as you went about your daily routine.

Even if they did grow on them I would they latching onto the tongue would begin to cause problems.

But! As long as people catch it early and see a doctor all should be well.

Annoying perhaps, but as long as they get it looked at it should be fine. We have plenty of people around who can fix such things up.
