Just got back from Oklahoma last night at 1am. I have much much to do, a lot of calling my friends, but right now I need to help my parents put stuff in boxes and move furniture so we can clean the carpets on Monday. They're really helping me out this year, so I need to do what I can for them.

So, I was stuck in Phoenix for a while because of a thunderstorm and got halfway through the Half-Blood Prince. I plan to finish it sometime tonight, perhaps late tonight, so Mom can stop censoring what she says to me about HP.

Have started paying more attention to my finances, which are seriously dwindling down. This last winter I felt pretty good about all the saving I had accomplished, and now I'm feeling self-pressurization to find a part-time job. Also, I make up words now. I always have, but it's so much more guilt-free now that I am studying psychology instead of literature. Can't shake the grammar nazi, though. I found several glaring typos in HP:HBP while on the plane. I had just re-read Order of the Phoenix thinking, wow, they did a great job editing for such a big book. Someone got sloppy the sixth time around!

I went partially deaf during the flights. My slight cold kept my ears from popping, which was really painful, and when the pain subsided I couldn't hear very well. Sounded like a fan was pointed at my ears. All better now.

I don't write anymore because I know I'll never be a writer. I don't act anymore because I know I'll never be an actress. I don't call or e-mail anyone anymore because I'm a lousy friend.
