Cool . . .

So I did my taxes yesterday - after I got my W2 from Best Buy, which had been the straggler of my tax documents - and found out I'm getting a substantial refund. As in, over a thousand dollars. Which is woo-hoo worthy!

I'm trying to decide what I want to do with it - I SHOULD save it, heaven knows. But I'm very seriously considering taking a small vacation with Justin. We're thinking Great Smokey Mountains. You can rent a cabin there for less than $100 a day, which is pretty reasonable, and it's a pretty area. We used to go there for a week every summer when I was little, actually, even though I don't recall us ever going into the park itself.

They have a small lodge in the park that's very rustic - indoor bathrooms, but no showers, no electricity, just you, the mountains, and a mile to your car. Justin would LOVE it. I would HATE it.

But we've found another set of cabins that are fairly cheap and have, like, full bathrooms and fireplaces and lights and stuff, which will make both of us happy, I think.

We'd also thought about Mammoth Cave, but there's not a lot to do there besides, well, the cave - even though we'd be close to Bowling Green. I'm not sure yet, though. I still have to send IN the taxes, and then wait for the money to hit, so that I can make reservations or whatever. We'll see what happens, right?
