Thirst had not had any leads on her predicament in a while, but this was largely due to her avoiding the Nexus and its damnable anti-violence field. So as she was growing increasingly wont to do, she was now roaming the streets of the city. Fortunately, as it always was for these expeditions, it was late at night and very few people were around.

Oh hey! Was that Bro- ...no. No, that wasn't Brooke. And it sure as hell wasn't Terra. It was that girl, the one she fought before. The one who hurt her and Lightning. Ophelia glared at her, her arm crossing over her chest as her hand touched the back of her shoulder. The wound had healed, but the scar was still there.
She never felt so much hatred, nor the urge to hurt someone as badly as she did now. And the girl hadn't seen her yet. Her back was still turned. There was not a lot of snow on the ground, but there was enough for her to do some damage with. And that's exactly what she intended to do. The snow began to form a sharp spike, about the size of a kitchen knife, and it hovered into the air, at about waist level.
Ophelia sent it shooting forward, making a beeline for the unsuspecting blonde. If she didn't turn around, it would probably sink into the back of her leg, at the soft spot where the leg bends at the knee.
((lulz I know anatomy. Hope that last part made sense.))

Her hand almost immediately went for her waist, before her eyes widened in realization that, in her anger towards Changeling, she had decided to forego the knife that he had provided for her and she had not yet gotten one of her own. Terrific. She was left to her strength, speed, reflexes, and hair.
Of course, she didn't see herself at a disadvantage. Even while she was reduced to pivoting around on her knee to see her assailant.
...Oh. Well.
"You cheeky bitch."

Ophelia clearly wasn't feeling normal, because she approached Thirst, not nearly as terrified as she had been before. There was still some fear, of course, but mostly there was a sense of satisfaction, seeing Thirst hurt. Something she had never felt before, she felt.. she felt good for hurting her. It was as if her conscience and morals were completely stripped, and she didn't even notice.
"I really don't think you have much room to talk," was her only reply. Remembering the Tai Chi exercises with Silvermane, Ophelia swung her arm back slowly, and swept it forward, more spikes of ice aiming in Thirst's direction.

Well, that was a predicament. But in the interest of buying a little more time for her leg to heal, she chucked the spike back at Ophelia, then leapt up from her kneel with intent to bridge the gap between them.
Of course, the number of confounding factors -- her awkward starting position, her mild surprise at the impending attack, her still-not-healed knee -- led to her jump being significantly shortened in both length and height. Long story short, she wound up kissing concrete. Whether or not she'd avoided the ice, she couldn't tell. With her eyes getting intimate with the sidewalk and all.

Ophelia's eyes widened at the ice spike coming towards her, and managed to stop it mid-air, only getting grazed a bit. She almost felt like laughing. And before she realized it, she did. The girl was trying to use her own element aginst her.
The other spikes missed Thirst, since Ophelia froze them when she froze the other spike that Thirst had froze at her. For a moment, they hovered harmlessly in the air, looking quite pretty. And then the were mobile again, points down and aiming for the grounded blonde.

Her body still prone, she realized she wasn't exactly in the best of positions, but she could still attack, and oh god, did she want to. Her hair shot outward in a typical attack, coming at Ophelia in clumps not unlike several spears.
She hadn't paid the ice spikes any attention, though. Mostly because she didn't know where they were.

Not paying much attention to her lower body, the hair did indeed attack succesfully. The fabric of her pants ripped in thee different spots as the hair went through, and she felt pain shoot throughout both her legs. She screamed, collapsing to the ground, ripping herself away before Thirst could do any more damage. She might have felt satisfied seeing the spikes of ice hitting various parts of Thirst's body, if she weren't in so much pain.

Well, shit. Pain was severely dulled for her, but it wasn't every day she had ice spikes going into and almost through her in several places -- her forearm; her calf and the opposite thigh; where her liver would be if it mattered; close to her lung, only stopped by bones. She actually screamed. For the first time in her life, she screamed in pain.

Willing the ice to move with her mind and the motion of her arm, (she was really going to thank Silvermane for those Tai Chi exercises later, the movement really helped), she inhaled sharply as the spikes went through Thirst, and then flattened beneath her into one large sheet of ice. Pushing her arm forward, she sent the girl slidding off along the ground in the direction of a random shop.
As soon as she did this, she ran/limped off to an alley, grabbing her cell phone out of her pocket, speed-dialing Lightning. Please let him pick up!!

Of course, those deep thoughts would come later. For now, she was busy simmering in her own hatred and waiting for her body to heal. Further away from her target, no less. But she knew the whore's scent quite well by now. She couldn't run.

"... You got into a fight ith her?! But how did you. Why did you." He shook his head; he was going to have to ask Ophelia all of that later. Right now, she had to get away from that nut case. "I will be there in a moment! Tell me where you are and I will be there."

Heh. Spades. She would be amused if she weren't so pissed off.
Fortunately, Ophelia still had time; Thirst was on her feet, yes, and, guided by the scent of her blood, barrelling towards Ophelia at full speed, but even she couldn't cover space instantaneously.

She could break in somewhere though... maybe freeze the pipes? She couldn't believe she was even considering that, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
