So the playoffs have started. And the fears of every Wings fan have materialized: The Wings are down 2-1 in the series against the Oilers. It's depressing but I have confidence the Wings will start to pull out of the defeat. And that's all I'm going to say for now.
I took Anna and her family out to dinner tonight at our favorite mexican restaurant. It was good... $75. But everyone had a good time and the notion served its purpose.
We're a little over one month away from the wedding. Plans are going well. We can't wait to go to London!
Which brings us to.... THE BACHELOR PARTY!
Brian did a great job of organizing everything. I think it is fair to say that everyone had a great time, despite a little skirmish between some guy and my brother, which really amounted to nothing except for this guy wisely deciding to walk away. Let's hope it stays that way.
Anyway, we started the day with some random fun in a parking lot waiting for the "bus" to show up. Instead, an SUV limo pulls up, so we load up our gear, and go play with guns and paintball. LOL, I'm sure all you readers could have guessed this was going to happen. Afterwards, we hopped back in the limo and went to Argosy Casino, then went to the "fun" bar down the street. Good times were had by all and I really think it changed the lives of some people. ROFL!
I found out that I do not enjoy gambling. I lost $40 to slots and got no thrill from it. I did enjoy blackjack for a bit, but I really sucked. I did manage to break even on blackjack, though.
Like I said, Brian did a great job of organizing things. I really am quite fortunate to have had him as a good friend for a long time. Someday I hope to move back to Cincy so we can hang out more often.
Anyway, I need to catch up on some sleep tonight. Here are a few pics from the bachelor party!
