[...is there no such thing as peace and quiet in this place? Apparently not from when you're getting off work, as Lightning has just found out. At least her backflips weren't a power, because that's what she's using to get out of the way.]

*HOT DAMN-- Flay is promptly stomping a foot down on the tip of his Rhyhorn's head to slow it to a halt, before turning to check this acrobat out.*

Hmhmhm... Most impressive! I praise your athletics ability! Not many have taken the dramatic route.

[Enjoy the look, because it's all you'll get, Flay. She's not happy about this, to be sure.]

Not many people have to deal with a rampaging Rhyhorn.

Hah! He is far from rampaging... I have his course completely under my command!

Right. Of course you do. [Peering at the trail left in your wake now. That isn't completely under control where she comes from.]

*To be fair, it's only signs and a mailboxes and such that are... completely dislodged.*

You should have seen him when I first let him out! I could have built a nice, two story home in the area our battle cleared out.

[Well, people weren't hurt, at least.]

You should work on controlling him.

Hmmm? I have quite good control over him at the moment! It was far more difficult to ride him like this when I first started.

[Iconface]

You're going to get someone killed riding him like that through a town.

*Your icy glares have no effect!*

Hah! If such a incident was about to occur, I would save the civilian in question so swiftly they wouldn't even get to have their life flash before them!

[Another guy with a hero complex. Great.]

And if you couldn't save them? Who'd have to pay for your actions?

Fear not, my fair acrobat! Such a situation will not arise! For the only time someone would fail to be saved was if I was the one playing the part of the villain.

Could have fooled me, with the way you were laughing.

Hah! A ally of justice always has time to laugh! If it were necessary, I could easily cut one short and burst into an act of heroism.

I thought heroes were supposed to be humble, not people making scenes and nearly running others over.

Reply

drillofjustice November 19 2010, 04:38:01 UTC
Nonsense! Heroes are the ones who burst onto the scene at the last minute, say a dramatic line, then soundly and utterly crush the villain underfoot with their special attack.

If that special attack happens to involve running the villain over, that is simply a coincidence!
