I have a lot to write about in this entry. Rather, I think I do, but thanks to my rather infamous ways of managing to lose all of the ideas I'd previously gathered to write here, I don't think it'll be very coherent. Alas.
I closed at work last night. It was my first time, and it actually was pretty cool. Kevin helped me out big time last night, and we managed to get all of the customers to call kicked out. It was dreadfully slow, and poor Sue in returns was bored all night.
However, she did pay me a high compliment upon watching me complete calling a customer. As I hung up the phone, she shook her head and smiled. She commented that I should be in the radio or TV business. Then, I proceeded to brag about my best friend's scholarship, and how he'd previously wanted to attend a radio / television tech school in Oregon prior to the scholarship.
This morning, I opened. If there's anything I abhor more than mayonnaise, I've discovered, it's closing and then having to return to open the store 10 hours later. However, Mark did invite me to lunch again today. It was a shame that, due to scheduling constraints around the desk, I wasn't able to take him up on the invitation. He remarked that he had found a solution to my "problem". I believe the "problem" he's hinting toward is that I haven't had sex in over a year and a half and I think he's planning on giving me the "hook up". Insert random eye roll here. Nevertheless, when I confronted him about the solution to my "problem" following both of our lunch breaks, he insisted that he has a solution, he couldn't tell me what exactly, and that he'd "had no complaints".
This somewhat scares me. Rather makes me wary, but my curiosity is definitely piqued. Keep in mind I'm not the type to rush in headlong into anything, especially involving a married man. Or ANYTHING a married man says to me. Good god.
( What makes the whole situation positively laughable is that my dearest Matt was under the impression that Mark was a much older man than I. *snickers* You know I love you. )
I have been extended one or two invitations by an elderly gentleman that works in the plumbing department by the name of Ron to join him for dinner at the casino, or at least to try one of their open-faced steak sandwiches. I really do dearly love that old man. He's a positive delight in every fashion imaginable, and he totally lightens up my day. He surprised me today by shoving three bite sized Butterfinger bars into my apron before letting me get a word in. What a funny guy.
I have since decided to occupy myself this afternoon by downloading tons of music I've been reintroduced to thanks to the satellite radio station they play at work. Granted, they play the same music over and over, but most of it is what I grew up listening to in the 90s. Including about 4 - 5 songs by my all time favorite band. Amazing.
At any rate, I do believe that's everything I've got to report today. I've got a date with MapleStory tonight. Can't keep the friends waiting.
Much love.
