I wrote this entry shortly before puking. Ughhh.... Reading it now makes me ill [the thought of food period does], but it still applies I suppose. I know whats wrong with me, and my diet is luckily not contributing. In fact, last time I went to the doctors, he said I was quite healthy probably because of it. Go me.
But I digress...

I was in the health food store today [one with many vegan options, luckily for me], and I was desperately searching for a vegan pizza that did NOT have casien in the soy cheese [casien is a milk protien, not vegan]. I found a soy cheese pizza pocket that made me drool. Of course, as I read the ingredients, it had casien in it. I was dissapointed, but kept coming back to it in the freezer section. Finally, I said "screw it" and grabbed it.
However, I got myself a vegan lentil "burger" wrap from the deli at the last minute and put the pizza pocket back. I had every intention on buying and eating it, thank goodness that I didn't. I admit that as a vegan, I had soy cheese with casien once in a very very weak moment. It is so much tasier than the soy cheese without of course.
Man though, did I want it. I posted over at the vegetarian and vegan boards for some advice on how to quench that craving. I have been missing pizza lately... No soy cheese without casien has come even close to making a good pizza...
