I just went through some of my writings that I have done on my computer in the past, it surprised me. I read them and then thought about what I was feeling at that time. It is interesting. Some of the lyrics are so personal to me, and it is as if I was able to express my soul at that very moment with words.
I haven't read them in many months. I think some of them are great. Much better than when I first wrote/read them. Guess it takes time to reflect on your work and actually see how good or bad it really is.
Some of the songs are more than 4 years old, amazing. Time has flown by faster than I have realized, hopefully one day I can be in a band and make my lyrics into songs. I should mess around with my piano and try to make it a song myself, in fact that will be my goal for this month. Wish me luck with my non-existent piano skills.
