I HONESTLY STARTED BAWLING LIKE A BABY IN THE MIDDLE
IT WAS MAGNIFICENT
I'm so happy, but at the same time, so very very sad. What I know for sure is that 1) I will be screencapping this ep like crazy, and 2) I will miss and love Yusei forever.
HIGHLIGHTS:
1. Yusei standing on the ledge like a crazy person. (Boy has he changed from his introverted, serious self!)
2. Older!Twins are looking awesome. Is v. glad that Rua didn't cut his hair.
3. Crowthebulletsama's bullet earrings!
4. RALLY-TACHI being alive. (Now if only we found out what happened to Himuro. And that awesome fella in the detention center.
5. A YuAki ending that was befitting of all the other series. There is no romance in YGO, only delicious subtext.
6. Also, I loved how Jack and Yusei's duel brought them into Satelite. I was struck by nostalgia.
Disappointments:
1. Crimson Dragon taking his powers back. Saw it coming, but it really sinks in the fact that the series is over.. Haha, out of all the protags, only Judai gets to keep his specialness. (Still want more 5DX crossovers)
and finally:
2. JACK WEREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO LOVE CARLY?! WHAT HAPPENED TO HER CHARACTER DEVELOPMENTT
All in all, I loved this series to bits, even the parts that people found boring. Though I would have loved it if the second season wasn't quite so lighthearted.
