((OOC: Julius' name is Andrew Bishop in his illusionary world within the Labyrinth))
Andrew Bishop is sitting at the table, watching his father and brother eat. Gregory Bishop is fawning over the boy as he has been known to do.
"Its funny isn't it?" A red headed man is sitting at the table now, Kyle Ornan? Andrew remembers the name, remembers being with him on college, remembers... he isn't sure anymore.
Nevertheless, Andrew trusts this man, so he responds, "What's funny?"
Kyle looks Andrew in the eyes, "You don't even know how old your brother is."
Andrew is stunned, surely he knows how old his brother is right? He himself is 24, his father is 49, his brother is... But he doesn't. He doesn't remember how old his brother is. He decides to ask, "How old are you?"
His father and brother stare at him, "Andrew, who are you talking to?" And that's when he notices that his father and brother are acting as if Kyle isn't even there.
Andrew answers, unsure of himself now, "You, Isaac."
Before Isaac can answer, Kyle cuts him off again, "Isaac? Who is Isaac?"
Andrew stares at him again, "I... my brother..." But he isn't sure of that now. Of course he has doubts, what person doesn't? But he has never doubted his family, has he?
"Are you okay?" His brother asks him, a worried expression on his face.
"I'm find, I just forgot how old you were for a moment." He says back, that must be it.
Kyle snickers, "Long moment wouldn't you say?"
Andrew looks at him again, "Long moment? Look, Kyle, what are you doing here?"
Kyle laughs again, "I think the bigger question is what are you doing here?"
Andrew sighs, apparently paying attention to him isn't helping anything, but... there is something... nagging about it all, something... he can't quite put his finger on. Still, he sighs, he must be tired from work. He is hallucinating and talking to a dead man after all.
Gregory moves over to him and puts a hand on his shoulder, "You must be tired from all the work you have been doing. Maybe you should take the day off." Andrew just sighs and nods, and then his father hugs him.
Kyle slowly and deliberately stands up and moves over to Andrew, before whispering into his ear, "He killed me you know, Julius."
Julius is my name. The realization is instantaneous, And I hold no love for this man. The sudden rush of fear, hatred and regret surprises him. He has no clue why he has these feelings. He doesn't really know who this Julius is, but he somehow paradoxically knows it's him. In his confusion he shoves Gregory away and grasps for the first thing that he can see, which turns out to be a small green drill. In a flash, he's gone, and Andrew Bishop is nothing but a fleeting memory...
