It's good to be home.
It's quite nice being home. A little surreal, as Houston isn't really "home" for me anymore, but it's definitely nice to be back in the states. I'm definitely jet lagged, but not as badly as I was when I came back in February. I think the fact that I have a more "normal" schedule here in Texas than we usually have in DC is helping that considerably.
Marc seems to really like my parents' dog Lola. Marc is usually more of a cat person than a dog person, so it's a bit of a compliment to Lola that he seems to really enjoy playing with her. It also bodes well for possible future dog ownership, as it means that Marc does sometimes like dogs, but it's just on a dog-by-dog basis. I really would like to get a Jindo Gae sometime in the next couple years, so it's good to see that Marc enjoys dogs when they're well-behaved and well-trained. I'm generally pretty good at training animals, so I think it's a possibility.
