Holy Crap. Some of my Jindo Gae photos may (eventually) end up in a guide to Jindo Gae.
Today I inadvertently became friends with the man who bred all the Jindos that were featured in the parade for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He still breeds Jindos, and is apparently, after the official govt. organization that keeps track of the breed, the most knowledgeable person around about them. He has been breeding these dogs for around 35 years!
I’ll tell more of the story later tonight, but basically he’s writing an extensive guide to the breed, and he showed me his mockups, with photos. I showed him some of the photos I have taken on the island, and he liked them so much he said he might contact me about using some of them!
What an appropriate way to end my stay here.
