6:30 PM: Wow, what an exciting day!! We got up not-quite-as-early and were a bit dismayed to hear rain on the window. But we soldiered on anyway, the way the British do. There were lots of fans there today, about 20-30 and we all perched in the shelter of the staircase in anticipation. One staff member came up and said we they couldn't sign autographs or do personal photos (didn't stop some people...). I noted how she said nothing about 'no glomping'...
Our paitience finally paid off! First there were a couple of knights, then a couple more, then who should stroll past in full costume but Bradley James, Rupert Young and Colin Morgan!! You can imagine how excited I was! Colin unfortunately dissapeared inside straight away, which is probably a good thing. Who knows what we would've done to him! Richard Wilson also walked past a few times, both with and without the wig. He gave us a smile and a wave. How nice of him!
Best of all, we got to watch Bradley, Rupert and some others rehursing their swordfights! It was soooo cool! The stunt co-ordinator is also great to watch because he really knows his stuff.
They were filming inside and most of the day it was pissing with rain, but I'm so happy! I've seen the cast at events and stuff but it's so much cooler seeing them in action. And being around the other fans and talking to them is great too. We're all dirty minded and completely mad but at least we're all in it together!
I think that the actor playing Sir Gawain was there too. He hasn't appeared in the show yet. If he had I probably would have fangirled even harder. When Bradley walked past the last time, I admit I coulndn't help staring at his arse....Rupert Young has a nice arese too.....Ok, this is getting too weird now.
So now I just need to get married and my I can die happy! Tomorrow we're off to Paris and I finally get to see the opera house! Yay, I'm excited!
