Entry 15 - Decaying Labyrinth
Okay, remind me never to do that again. Skeletal warriors, animated dolls armed with huge shears, ghouls, zombies. There was even a powerful Lich guarding this cursed ring, which we had to carry outside so it could be purified in sunlight. Only problem is that simply being close to the damn thing weakens your life force.
Not the most enjoyable of experiences. But at least the curse is broken and the soil is no longer corrupted. Who knows, maybe even the forest will recover, one day.
At least Florina has offered to cultivate herbs and medicines for us. For free! I'd say that made the whole ordeal worth it in the end. Still, that girl is pretty strange. She seems to have an even deeper connection with Filgaia than even the Baskar. I coulda sworn I heard an old folktale about this race of demi-humans who could speak to plants. They had long furry ears, though. Whatever, what matters is that we got a decent reward this time around.
Now to head back to Westwood and get back on the Cascade Gang's trail.
