Now that Sexy has restored my faith in Glee's ability to not totally suck, here is some stuff I hope they're brave enough to do at some point ( Read more... )

Ugh. Blaine.

Glee has essentially killed all interest I had in Kurt and Blaine getting together. I'm really starting to think it was the writers' intention, too.

Whether or not it was intentional, I can never tell with them. But I agree, I'm really sick of Blaine at this point. I love Darren Cris, and I want him to go back to doing original stuff so that I can see him in something I actually enjoy; at the moment I don't really enjoy Blaine and I don't really enjoy Glee when Blaine is on it. They've turned him from a widely loved character into a thoughtless jerk who's a few hops away from stringing poor Kurt along. :|

Oh and Rachel in that story line shot down all that hard work the writers tried to do towards redeeming her character. I was starting to actually kind of appreciate her, then she stabbed one of her friends in the back. FAIL.

Blaine is just...an incredibly fail character all around.

And, to be honest, I'm really over Darren Criss as well. I find his acting to be pretty cringe worthy. : /

Rachel lost me when she told Kurt, "Who cares about you, buddy?" Blech.

I almost wish they never had this story line about Kurt getting a boyfriend, because it's just uncomfortable to watch at this point.

In defense of Darren Criss, his strengths have always been singing and songwriting. I was so excited to see one of my favorite musicians join Glee initially that had difficulty admitting that Glee might not be the place for him. Darren's good with comedic acting, Blaine is just too serious of a character for him to excel at. Plus, he's acting next to Chris Colfer who is truly a prodigy.

I cannot decide if I think they're really going to go through with giving Kurt a boyfriend or not. These writers both change their minds and blatantly lie about plot points at times. So it's hard to say. I guess I just wish the writers hadn't decided to do their contrived and grotesque version of will-they-won't-they with Kurt and Blaine and just stuck them together for a little while before adding conflict. That actually may have saved the validity of their relationship in a lot of viewers eyes. Whatever. We still have Brittana hatching for now...
