Going to Kentucky tomorrow with two co-working-pals. Should be interesting, may go cave-exploring, may go to the Six Flags, may get Mickey drunk for the first time in her life and will definitely get smashed off my ass. I still have to pack, though, and of course both Mickey and I have to close the cafe tomorrow night. We're leaving right after work to drive 7 (or is it 9) hours to Louisville.
If I had a building and a shit-load of post-it notes, I would so do this. Re:
the google thing, to get to Galway I apparently have to travel to Boston, swim 3,462 miles to France for some reason, and loop through France, England and Wales to jump to Ireland. When I could just swim straight to Galway. Or, you know, fly to Shannon. XD Also, I'm amused that my map lists Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden by their names in their languages. It's like "look at us, we're so multi-cultural!" Except not.
Neil Gaiman linked this in his blog, but it was damn cool, so I figured I'd link it here for posterity/so I can find it again.
And now bed, because I sadly have a lot to do tomorrow -.-
