Squirt went back to Leicester yesterday evening, the house is way too quiet without her and the parents have both gone into post-Squirtle slump; it's just as well she'll be back in four weeks really!
Big news of the weekend: I'm going to JAPAN in SEPTEMBER! The Squirtle and I will fly out of Birmingham International on Sunday 16th September and return on Tuesday 2nd October (so we leave on our mother's birthday and return on Beth's XD), we'll be spending two weeks with the delightful later_uk in Mito and I can't wait *______* Okay, I can wait because its only April but... wow, I can't believe we're actually going! The airfare coming out of my account later this week might make it seem more real though.
And Gaku. Yeah I know everyone else has wittered on about it at length. Some of you I agree with, some of you I don't and trying to pick it all apart would require far more patience than I am prepared to waste on someone as irritating and generally useless as Gaku. I think this may be my overriding feeling on the matter - it's just Gaku. Maybe we can't understand why Nagayan likes the guy but... for heaven's sake, I'm finally getting around to writing something smutty in Nile Blue, I'm not going to allow the TxN fandom to cave in on itself now! So there XP

Edit: Clearly I'm not immune from post-Squirtle slump either -_- Motivation is non-existent and I don't feel like being sociable even in the "sitting online" sense.
