BACK!

So I'm back in (ahem) sunny Liverpool! My unplanned week at home was brilliant, it was just what I needed and I'm now feeling much, much better than I did ^_____^

Random news items
- The dissertation has been completely restructured (thank you Roland ><;) but I'm making progress.
- My sister is still utterly insane but very kindly gave up her bed (and use of her computer) for most of the weekend.
- My father's three month sabbatical started today
- I've watched all sixteen episodes ever made of 'Dinnerladies' in the space of 72 hours
- I've also watched 'Lost in Translation' (more interested in the background than the characters), 'Fantastic Four' (daft, utterly daft), 'Stiff Upper Lips' (still my favourite film ever, spoof Merchant Ivory film with Sam West in it!), Tenimyu 1, SeiRu, bits of Burimyu and Gackt's Sixth Day and Seven Night DVD. Oh and bits of 'Moonchild'. AND all the episodes of Machi E Tobadisou (or however you spell it)
- I've been writing. NB part 10 has been redrafted (yeah, sorry it took so long ^^;) and I think I know where part 11 is going.
- My mother is wonderful (just thought I should point this out seeing as she's put up with so many long, rambling conversations from me this week).
- As always seems to happen when I'm at home, I do loads of ironing o.O
- I have new speakers! Proper speakers! YAY!
- Chris Eyre is an idiot, Steven hasn't noticed I've been away, Roland thanked me for keeping me informed and said it if went on too long to get a doctor's note and Liz was very nice about it.
- Squirt has made me a huge 'I'm OK!' sign for my door. It's gold and silver and on a big piece of black paper. She's also made me chocolate brownies and I swiped fresh bread from mother before I left. So I'm not going to starve
- I've given up giving up. In other words - I HAVE TEA! Because really, there was no way I could stay away from the stuff when I was at home ^_~
- And I got back too late to see Saz *sniffs*

And last but not least, I really don't think I'm going to have time to catch up on the F-list from this last week. So if anything earth-shattering has happened then you might want to tell me here because otherwise I may just not notice!

me, family
