(no subject)
at first, i thought coming into work at 2 AM on saturday morning would be cool. but as i got up at 1:40 AM, i realized something: not cool. once i got there, i found that my keycard didn't work. not cool either. luckily, someone was coming out of the building, so i could come in.
once i started working though, i thought that it wasn't too bad. just had to take some bacteria on a plate and put it in a tube. and so now i'm online, buying tickets to ravinia, which i guess is this big concert in illinois. i bought four tickets to see ben folds + rufus wainwright for 15 dollars each! who else wants to come?
wednesday, august 10th. i don't think they're sold out. yet. but they will probably go quickly. www.ravinia.com. if you're from out of town, you can crash with me. ben folds and rufus wainwright do a good duet of "careless whisper" which is a song by WHAM or something. anyway, i think i'll head back to bed now, seeing as i have to be back here in about five hours. maybe this time, they'll be no one there and i'll have an excuse when all my experiments fail...?
