#1709 - Geitoneura minyas - Western Xenica



A small Nymphalid endemic to the SW of Australia, where the larvae thrive on grasses including the introduced Veldt Grass. Similar to Klug’s Xenica, which is what I initially mistook it for. Quite common at this time of year, at least in sunny open woodland.
