#584 - Christinus marmoratus - Marbled Gecko

Sep 12, 2014 20:02

My wife is a schoolteacher, and at lunchtime one of the Year Twos came running up about to tell there was “something horrible” in the sandpit. She was expecting a hypodermic syringe - what she got was this gecko.

Terrifying :D  Happily, the gecko was moved elsewhere and the school was saved.

Marbled Geckos are Australia’s southernmost gecko, found across much of the southern half of the mainland and some islands, and do well in a range of habitats, including urban buildings. By far the most frequently encountered gecko, over here.

blobs with bones in, reptile, education even if you don't want it
