So...how to begin...
Yesterday, Synergy played with the Boston Pops out on Nantucket. That was way cool. We got a special ferry out to the island (and back), got to hang out with the dudes from the Pops, got to play for a few thousand people on the beach at Nantucket...good times. It's great when the director of the Boston Pops says, "Man you guys were great!" to you after you just played a 12 minute set in front of his orchestra. We met a few VIP's from the concert (dudes paying $25,000 for a table near the stage...yikes) and they adored us. Which could lead to more VIP style gigs. FUN!!!! Ego...swelling....can't....control it....POP!
My girlfriend, Liz, is going to move in with me for a couple weeks while she gets her stuff sorted out. She needs a new job (she hates the one she's in), she has to find a new place to live (her landlord was awful, wouldn't fix the house, the house had pests, etc), and she has to find a more "progressive" group of friends to boot. Progressive, meaning, advancing her life. These people are fun, but they don't really help her move forward. They're holding her back, I guess is what I'm saying. So Liz is moving in with me just temporarily until she can get her shit straightened out...not permanently or anything. Though I suppose the scary part is: I wouldn't mind her just staying. At least as of yet... :P Anyone think I should slow down with this? Or just fucking ride the wave?
Anyway, I don't have a great picture of her yet, but here's a good one. Us getting ready to head out to Tanglewood for a kids' show.
Blurry-ass camera-phone pics don't do her justice, I swear, but here's another...whether she likes it or not :P This is one of those "Don't you dare or I swear I'll..." pictures. Hehe
