Costume from GenCon Indy
I sent my boyfriend off to GenCon (I sadly had to go home to Texas about a week before the fun) in a Dr. Horrible costume. Here's a few pics I thought I'd share!
He's standing here with some manner of promo monster? I don't know, but the monster is awesome.
Ran into a red Doctor, which is awesome. I love that everyone *knew* it was imperative to take a ray/beam of some sort. :)
This is actually him at home (why he failed to remove his glasses is beyond me... haha) with a raygun I made out of spare... everything. Seriously, there's like curling irons and remote controls on that thing. :)
There were a few problem areas on the costume that I wish I'd been able to sort out (The fact that Andrew was at lab all day and I didn't get to fit the coat on him til it was almost done and the fact that I FAIL AT MATH didn't help haha....) but overall he was happy with it, and now he has 3 rayguns to play with (or put on his wall...) is a bonus. :)
Apparently one girl at GenCon hugged him, and one guy came up to him to say "I've seen a bunch of you guys around all weekend, but I don't know what it is!" Andrew got to shwo him the light. ^_^
