What to do...
I know I haven't been updating. But now I've got an important decision to make and I don't know what the right one is.
My cat Colonel Mustard went into the hospital on Friday. He's got a blocked urethra. He's had the problem in the past, and it looks like the only way this can be fixed is surgery. Very expensive surgery.
My mom has offered to lend me the money, if I want, to pay for the surgery. I'm pretty sure it's what I want to do. Those of you who have met the Colonel (Justin and such) know there's no cooler cat. He's terribly sweet and affectionate. He's only 4 1/2 years old, so it's not like he's old.
So the question is, do I spend approximately $3,500-$4,000 on my cat? If I don't get him the surgery, he will likely die from Urea posioning as it doesn't appear like he'll unblock anytime soon, and this surgery will help prevent him from blocking again.
Thoughts, advice, encouragement would be welcome.
