OOC: Backdating and You
Hey guys.
Just a little reminder about backdating.
Backdating allows an posted entry to show up as normal on your journal, but not up on your friends' friendslists. This is a great function for things like posting your schedule, a room layout, a new voicemail post, etc. Or for teachers and stuff like rosters, etc. that you will be linking to, or projects you may want to organize first before they "go live." Because they are posted as normal, but don't clutter up the community reading for the rest of us although now I remember I have to update my schedules from last semester, woe, to-do list.
Backdating any schedules would be great, because the master list was already posted. You can link to them on your profile page so anyone has easy access if they want to stalk you figure out scheduling with you.
It's that easy. Just click that button before you update your journal.
