Obi Wan?
A friend of mine sent me a link to a Gigapan viewer of the Inauguration. I'm sure you are thinking,"oh well, erm, WOW wil a gigapan."
You can feel safe in your ignorance. I didn't know what it was until today either!
Essentially the email I was sent said:
This picture was taken with a robotic camera and weighs in at 1,474 megapixel. (295 times the standard 5 megapixel camera). It was a Canon that pulled together over 200 individual shots. Each zoom in takes a second to focus ...and then you can see some amazing reactions.
When I read that my first thought was that it sounded slightly entertaining. Then I clicked on the link.
WoW is all I gotta say.
Now after spending a few minutes coughing, yes I do have a cold or something nasty, I was struck by one single solitary thought.
Who in this crowd of pious was picking their nose!!!!
I spent a good fifteen minutes, and much coughing my lungs out, trying to find someone who was doing that dastardly deed.
In the end I was halted for my gold digging search by one crazy fact. I found Obi Wan Kenobi. The original played by that great Sir Alec Guinness
I could dangle the carrot and say find him and good luck but I'm not that mean. Scan down to Obama, then just behind him on his left is the Supreme Court Justices. Do not focus on the fact the Judge Clarence Thomas looks to be asleep. I am sure now that he is a secret Jedi and his powers are scanning the crowd for threats to the Alliance now that the Emperor Bush has been dethroned.
About five rows back from the Honorable Supreme Court Justice Jedi Thomas is Master Obi-Wan, the great General himself. I'm not quite sure what he's doing there but considering both he and The Supreme Court Jedi are seem to be concentrating they must be ensuring the survival of the Alliance.
Ladies and Gentlemen, feel free to do more than take my word for it. See for yourself.
The other truly weird thing, looked on the side with Bush. A good 10 rows back or so is a dude wearing, um, leaves? Is that supposed to signify the plant people or peace or something?
On the way up to see the pic of mr. greenleaves try not to dwell on the lady wearing a big ass bow on her head. I don't know what that means and I don't wanna!
