Conversation when I got back home from dropping off my thesis this morning with a sleepy Jill:
Me, literally giddy with excitement: Guess where I stopped by after dropping off my thesis!
Jill: The beer store?
Me: No, even better!
Jill: The liquor store?
Me: Even better!
Jill: Where?
Me: LION SURPLUS! Guess what they had!
Jill: An oscilloscope?
Me: AN OSCILLOSCOPE! Guess how much it was!
Jill: How muc-
Me: FIVE DOLLARS! Guess what I did!
Jill: You bough it?
Me: I BOUGHT TWO!
Jill: Nik, what are you going to do with two oscilloscopes?
Me: Well I know one doesn't work and the other one doesn't have a power cord so I can't tell if that one works yet...
