So, for the first time in a while, I've started to get sick in a way that I'm not used to. Headaches, which have messed up my sleeping schedule, fluctuating temperatures, and now my throat locks up when I try to gargle even a small amount of plain water. In fact, it's hard to swallow in general. Then there's your average dizzy spells, difficulty concentrating, and the like.
Not fun. Not fun at all.
That, and I think Paypal hates me. It's doing this huge 'fuck you' from the web. I was trying to get a dress, for a wedding next month. I pay, everything is in order. In fact, I get the receipt of completed payment. Everything on my side says the transaction was finished successfully. A week later? The people email me about not receiving payment. Apparently the thing is still under 'review.' o.O I 'submitted a ticket' to Paypal to ask about it, and it's a few days later with no reply. Anyone else feel that huge middle finger?
Now, for less grim updates.
I have a new tablet! While others like to go on about how Vista sucks, I'm the lazy type that doesn't want to go through a huge downgrade. That, and things work out fine for me in general. The only issue was that my tablet wasn't working! This was a year ago, with the first tablet I have that's meant for systems like XP. In fact, that tablet came out before Visa, if I recall correctly.
I went to Newegg.com, expecting little result. Though I did find a tablet of my own kind of comforting style. One that wasn't too far from the original I had. This was the Genius G-Pen F610. Even better? The thing was on sale, and with free shipping! To cover my ass, and prevent a loss of money, I checked other places for their prices. I even went to eBay. Combining shipping costs, and taxes, nothing was beating Newegg.
So I purchased that tablet on a Thursday. On Monday, it had arrived at my door. Inside I heard something give a small 'huzzah!' It didn't impress my conscious one bit, for we both knew something. It'd been well over a year since I've drawn anything digitally! So came out the tablet, and on went with the exercise.
Naturally, I went about whoring this information to the dA community, via a
journal few would actually read. What they don't know is that I never updated the progress after that. I didn't want to show how much more my technique had changed.
So now you people get to share in my woes, as this information is glanced over with little care.
Oh, yes. I also have a new obsession in the song category. If anyone has watched Vampire Knight, there is a wonderful ending theme. The song is Still Alive, which says the artist is Kanon Wakeshima alone, but it's a project also worked on by Mana. Still, Kanon's cello skills are amazing. That, and this song is entirely haunting. Some people that don't even like Japanese music liked the song/artist simply because of the feel and cello skills. If you search on YouTube, you'll see the PV's for yourself. Or... How about this?

Alright, now I'm seriously done. Buh bye!
